Labeling Machine Change Parts: What to Confirm Before Ordering
Confirm whether you need an exact replacement or a new format-change project.

Labeling performance depends on controlled bottle movement and accurate label handling. Profiles, mounting points and timing relationships are specific to the container, label format and machine configuration.
Exact Replacement versus New Bottle Format
An exact replacement can normally be evaluated from a complete part code, current drawing or verified sample. A new bottle or label format can require coordinated work across bottle handling, guides, star wheels, label paths and setup parameters. State the requested scope clearly; a compatible-parts supplier should not be assumed to provide a full machine conversion service.
Components and Technical Inputs
Typical components include bottle guides and rails, star wheels, rollers, bushings, grippers, fingers, label guides, plates, cutting-related parts, vacuum-related mechanical parts, pads, blocks, shafts, brackets and format-specific change parts. For every line item provide a code, drawing or photo.
For format-related work, send bottle material, volume, drawing, neck finish, diameter and height; label type, dimensions, material and application position; machine brand, model, serial information and year; speed and process; and the part code, position, quantity, photos and drawing/sample availability.

Photos, Wear and Approval
Photograph guides, star wheels and shaped blocks perpendicular to the main face, with side views, thickness, steps, mounting features, holes and inserts. Show orientation and the complete outline, not only a worn contact area. Inspect bottle instability, guide and roller wear, bearings, shafts, alignment, contamination, mounting points and clearances between coordinated parts.
For custom or reconstructed parts, approve a controlled drawing before production. After a fit trial, record final revision, material and machine position, along with approved-part and packing-label photos.
Labeling Change Parts FAQ
Can a labeling change part be quoted from a bottle photo?
Usually not. A bottle drawing, machine details and the relevant part drawing or sample are needed for reliable engineering.
Can you modify parts for a different bottle volume?
That is a format-conversion requirement, not a simple compatible-parts replacement.
Why do you need the installed-position photo?
It shows orientation, adjacent components and functional relationships.
